Microbial anaerobic fermentation is a complex multi-step process, taking microbial anaerobic fermentation methane production as an example, involving hydrolysis, acidification, acetic acid production, methane production four stages, each stage contains multiple reactions. At present, the function and rule of microbial anaerobic fermentation are not fully understood. Monitoring and regulating the multi-parameter of anaerobic fermentation process is of great significance to understand its mechanism and maintain its operational stability.


RTK-CSTR automatic anaerobic fermentation process control and multi-parameter data analysis system. Six fully automated anaerobic reaction units can be controlled simultaneously, each consisting of a fully mixed anaerobic reactor (CSTR), a single-channel gas flow meter, a pH/ORP controller, an ion selective electrode, a foam sensor, a peristaltic pump, and a stirring motor. The system can display multiple parameters online in real time, such as reaction temperature, pH value, ORP value, specific ion concentration, and can automatically control these parameters, such as automatically adding acid and base to adjust pH value, automatically adding oxidizing reducing agent to adjust ORP value, automatically adding defoaming agent to defoaming, and automatically controlling the working mode of mechanical agitation, such as speed, direction, continuous or intermittent time. At the same time, real-time online display of biogas or methane gas volume or flow rate generated by anaerobic fermentation process and automatic conversion to the standard volume, the data is recorded and stored.

ORP range: -1000-1000 mV, accuracy 1 mV;

Motor mixing: 0-100 rpm;

Gas flow meter measuring range: 1 mL-50 L/d, accuracy 0.1mL;

Ion test: chloride ion, sodium ion, fluorine ion, nitrate ion electrode can be selected to test the corresponding ion concentration.

Special gas online test: You can choose specific gas sensors such as hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen oxide, ammonia gas sensor, online test the gas concentration and yield of anaerobic fermentation process.


2. Basic functions:

(1) CSTR reactor: flange seal mode to ensure anaerobic environment. In addition, there are feed port, discharge port, overflow port, air inlet, air outlet, pressure gauge, all kinds of probe jack; High borosilicate glass is easy to observe the materials in the reactor. If stainless steel is selected, a transparent observation window is provided for users to observe the materials in the reactor.

(2) Mechanical stirring: equipped with brushless motor, long service life, large stirring torque, can fully stir the reaction material, is conducive to uniform mass and heat transfer. Automatic control of mixing speed, direction and continuous or intermittent time. The mixing rod can be customized, and different mixing rods can be selected for different materials, such as slurry mixing paddle, frame mixing paddle, anchor mixing paddle, etc.

(3) Real-time pH test and control: The use of high-precision corrosion resistance, pollution resistance online pH meter to measure the pH value in the reactor in real time, and feedback to the control system, through the peristaltic pump to add acid or alkali to adjust the pH value, especially suitable for the reaction pH requirements of the process, such as to avoid anaerobic fermentation acidification phenomenon or other inhibition phenomenon.

(4) Real-time test and control of ORP value: The on-line ORP meter with high precision and corrosion resistance and pollution resistance is used to measure ORP value in the reactor in real time. ORP is an important evaluation parameter in the anaerobic fermentation process and is crucial for system stability. The control system adjusts ORP by adding oxidant or reducing agent through peristaltic pump, which is conducive to maintaining the stability of system operation.

(5) Sensor and defoaming: Although the reactor is equipped with an overflow port, a large amount of foam will be produced during anaerobic fermentation of some materials, which can not be discharged smoothly through the overflow port, and may block the reactor air port. Therefore, equipped with a sensor to sense the foam and timely feedback to the control system, and through the peristaltic pump add defoamer defoaming, is conducive to maintaining the stability of the system.

(6) Ion concentration online test: Equipped with various ion selection electrodes, such as chloride ion, sodium ion, ammonium ion, nitrate ion, etc. to carry out real-time online test of ion concentration in the reactor, which is conducive to comprehensive analysis of the operation of the system.

(7) Temperature test: anaerobic reaction is generally divided into low temperature, moderate and high temperature reaction. Temperature is crucial to the study of reaction process and kinetics. Real-time online display of the corresponding relationship between temperature and other parameters is conducive to comprehensive analysis of system operation.

(8) Gas volume and rate test: anaerobic fermentation process will produce some gases such as biogas/methane or hydrogen, gas volume or rate is an important indicator to analyze the operation of the system, through the equipped gas flow meter can be real-time online test gas production rate and cumulative volume, flow meter built-in temperature and pressure sensor, real-time measurement volume into the standard volume.

(9) Special gas concentration test: specific gas sensors such as hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen oxide, ammonia gas sensors can be selected to test the gas concentration generated by anaerobic fermentation process online.
