Reversible hydrogen reference electrode (RHE)

Reversible hydrogen reference electrode (RHE)

Product characteristics
(1) No external hydrogen source, such as hydrogen cylinders or hydrogen generators;
(2) The maximum applicable air pressure can reach 10 atmospheres;
(3) The maximum applicable temperature can reach 210℃;
(4) The hydrogen core can be replaced.

Product introduction
In general, the RHE reference electrode requires hydrogen to flow through the surface of the Pt electrode. However, preparing a closed Pt electrode device and equipping it with a hydrogen source is not an easy task. This will introduce a series of problems, such as increased costs, security risks, inconvenience and so on. This is why most researchers use other reference electrodes rather than RHE reference electrodes.

The RHE reference electrode has a built-in, replaceable sand core that continuously generates hydrogen gas flowing over the surface of the Pt electrode. Therefore, no additional hydrogen source is required.

The rate of hydrogen flow can be adjusted (lasting from 1 to 12 months), and it is generally recommended to adjust the use of 6 months.

Product parameter
(1) Length: 120 mm
(2) Diameter: 8 mm
