The speed can be controlled by inputting external signals (from the electrochemical workstation); the speed signal can be output to the test equipment (oscilloscope) or used to control the speed. Main Features


The MSR electrode rotator, with the model number AFMSRCE, is a popular product of PINE. Its rotational speed is indicated by an LED, which can be adjusted by means of a knob underneath the LED, with a range of 50 to 10,000 RPM and a display error of 1%. There is also a voltage signal output port on the panel, which can be connected to an external voltmeter or data acquisition system to display the change of voltage signal.

If desired, an external signal source can also be utilized through the panel interface to adjust the RPM. The external signal source can be a sine wave, square wave, or other waveforms. The external acceleration feature of the system allows the speed of the rotating device to be synchronized with the external waveform. This feature is particularly suitable for applications in hydrodynamic regulation.

The unit is easily disassembled and stored in a small space. The main unit can be easily moved up and down and connected to the electrolytic cell for electrode submergence or withdrawal experiments. The base is made of chemically resistant polypropylene. It can be easily placed into the glove box to do non-aqueous system research.
