Integrated UV/Vis Spectroelectrochemical System

The Pine Research integrated UV/Vis Spectroelectrochemicalsystem allows you to control the potentiostat and spectrometer from asingle program to ensure proper timing integration, seamless operation, and ease of use. Our AfterMath® software now interfaces to the Avantesfiber-optic based AvaSpec ULS2048 UV/Vis spectrometer and Avantes AvaLight Deuterium/Halogenlight source, enabling time resolved Spectroelectrochemistry experiments.

Fullyintegrated system consists of 3 components:

SpectroscopyInstrumentation - AvaSpecULS2048 UV/Vis spectrometer, AvaLight Deuterium/Halogen light source, Curetteholder, and Fiber-Optic cables

Honeycomb Cell Kit - Quartz curette with cap,one Pt honeycomb electrode, two Au honeycomb electrodes, and a referenceelectrode

Electrochemical Instrumentation - WaveNowor WaveDriver 10/20 Potentiostat Bundle.Fully Integrated: The UV/Vis spectroelectrochemicalintegrated system combines a Pine Research potentiostat and honeycombspectroelectrochemical cell kit with an Avantes fiber-optic based UV/Visspectrometer for complete Spectroelectrochemistry system. Control of thepotentiostat, UV/Vis spectrometer, and light source is run from our AfterMath®software.  Gone are the days where manual operation of two independentinstruments (potentiostat and spectrometer) with two separate softwareinstances.

Custom Bundles: Each component of the integratedspectroelectrochemical system are independent. We have developed severalproduct bundles to exactly fit your needs towards an integratedspectroelectrochemical cell kit. The various bundles include combinationsof the spectrometer, honeycomb cell kit, and potentiostat to suite yourspecific experimental needs.

Applications: Thesystem is fast, efficient, easy to use, and robust for applications fromundergraduate education to high level research.  Common experimentsperformed with spectroelectrochemistry include:

Measurement ofTransient Chemical Species or Equilibrium Spectra

Determinationof  Electroactive Species ReductionPotential

Measurement ofElectrochemical Kinetics
